IN THE AMERICAN LEGION WE LIVE BY THESE WORDS:  WE STRIVE TO MAKE EVERY DAY BETTER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN SO MUCH OF THEMSELVES TO MAKE OUR WORLD A BETTER PLACE.

The American Legion Post 125 is in Springfield, MO and it is here to help ALL veterans, regardless of when they served.
If you are a veteran, we are here to serve you.  If you’re needing help with a VA claim, employment, transitioning into civilian life, or just want to be a part of the largest and oldest veteran organization in the country, the American Legion is here for you.

The American Legion is a worldwide organization of almost 3 million veterans dedicated to serving veterans.  We stand on our four founding Pillars:
1. Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation
2. National Security
3. Americanism
4. Children and Youth.
The National organization of The American Legion is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Department of Missouri American Legion is headquartered in Jefferson City.  From this location they can be available for the state legislature on a moments notice to answer questions regarding veterans and veterans affairs.  Whenever an issue affecting Missouri’s veterans arise, the Department’s staff is there to protect our rights and benefits.
